Overview
My name is Piseth, pronounced as P. set. I’ve been working at the Family Medical Clinic of Greater Sacramento since January 2023. I am from Cambodia which is a tropical and cultural country. When I was in Cambodia I was a full time English teacher at a private Kindergarten. I moved to California in December 2019 and started working as a housekeeper in a senior living center. There I became interested in the medical field and, after 1 year as a housekeeper, I enrolled in college to study for my medical assistant degree whilst working as a caregiver full time. After graduation, I started my career as a medical assistant at an urgent care. Now I’m becoming a team player, colleague in the family medical clinic of greater Sacramento. Being part of staff’s healthcare is really rewarding. It makes me feel good about myself that I can help other people, making a connection, and feel more open and comfortable.
